Generate a presentation

Goal: go from a topic or a few notes to a .pptx file that's ready to open and present.

You don't need commands or template picking: describe the presentation in plain language and the agent uses the bundled ppt_skill. The native engine builds the slides, picks the visual automatically, and generates the file — on any surface (Desktop, terminal, VS Code, or browser chat).

Prerequisites

Be signed in (see the Quickstart).
Nothing to install: the presentation skill ships bundled and runs 100% on your machine (the nnumbers-office-pptx engine brings a bundled portable Node).

Step by step

Write the request with as much detail as you have:

Create a 6-slide executive presentation about the cloud migration.
Include: context, objectives, architecture, timeline, risks, and next steps.
Use an executive tone.

To start from existing material, point to the file with @ (Desktop/TUI) and ask the agent to use it as a basis:

The agent plans, writes, and generates the .pptx. On Desktop/TUI it appears as an artifact — open it in the Preview dock (Alt+1) to review it; in the browser chat, as a card with Download.

The visual is automatic

You describe the content; the engine handles the design. It picks a coherent visual family for the whole deck (and varies between decks). If you want a specific tone, ask in words (e.g. "more sober", "consulting style") — you don't need to name templates.

Result

A .pptx file. When the visualizer is available, the engine also generates a .pdf and thumbnails (previews/). On local surfaces, outputs land in the project's outputs/ folder; in the web chat, download it from the artifact card. Details in Files & artifacts.
