Models reference
A lookup table for Imaginne's models. For the mental model, see Models. The product exposes only the names in the [N]umbers family — nnumbers and nnumbers-code.
The product's models

nnumbers | The main and default model for general work. Plans, reasons, and acts. | Most of the work — planning, documents, analysis, and operating the agent. |
nnumbers-code | The model specialized in development. | Writing and editing code, reviewing diffs, scripts, tests, and debugging. |
The Imaginne product exposes only nnumbers and nnumbers-code and abstracts away the real names and identifiers of the providers and models behind the [N]umbers names, so swapping them changes neither your experience nor your integrations.
Imaginne generates images from prompts. That is a product capability, not an item in the model picker.
Automatic mode
Imaginne offers an automatic mode: on each turn, it chooses between nnumbers and nnumbers-code according to the task. You do not need to decide manually; pinning a model in the picker acts as a hint/override for that session.

| Desktop | The model picker in the composer (default nnumbers). |
| TUI | /model (or /m). The TUI routes automatically per turn; the selection is an override. |
| VS Code | No picker — the model is decided by the organization; the extension shows only the active one. |
| Web chat | No picker — uses the organization's model. |
What affects availability
What appears to you depends not only on the product, but on the organization's configuration.

Policy (AllowedModels) | The organization defines which models are allowed and which is the default. The picker is filtered by this list. In a single-model organization, it is effectively nnumbers. See Governance. |
| BYOK | With the organization's own keys, additional vendor models can be registered (Manage models) and made available — provided they are also in the profile's AllowedModels. See Administration → BYOK. |
| Profile | Without a profile that has skills/models, the agent receives no capabilities for you. See Administration → Profiles. |
