Desktop reference

A lookup table for the Desktop app. For the step-by-step, see Use Desktop. The agent's messages appear as "Imaginne √-1".

Keyboard shortcuts

Enter	Sends the message.
Shift+Enter	Inserts a line break.
Esc	Cancels streaming / closes overlays / cancels /image.
Cmd/Ctrl+K	Opens the command palette (⌘K).
Alt+1	Right dock: Preview.
Alt+2	Right dock: Diff.
Alt+3	Right dock: Plan.
Alt+4	Navigation: Project Memory.
Alt+5	Navigation: Saved Prompts.
Alt+6	Navigation: Integrations.
Alt+7	Navigation: Run Details.
Cmd/Ctrl+Enter	Sends the reply in ask-user mode.
Cmd/Ctrl+Z	Undo (in the Canvas).

Voice does not use Ctrl+Y

Voice on Desktop is triggered by the microphone button in the composer, not by a keyboard shortcut. Click to start/stop; the partial transcript appears in the text field and is not sent on its own.

Slash commands

Type / at the start of the message to open the dropdown.

/login	Logs in via the browser.
/logout	Logs out.
/whoami	Shows your identity (without exposing your session).
/memory	Opens the project memory.
/clear	Clears the conversation.
/model	Model picker (filtered by policy; default nnumbers).
/publish-skill	Publishes a local skill to a group.
/help	Help.

Intercepted commands (features)

Command	Effect
/fb <msg>	Sends feedback.
/canvas <title>	Creates a whiteboard. /canvas list lists them.
/image <prompt>	Generates an image in generated-images/.

Developer-mode commands

Available when the role is Developer (Settings → Info → Role).

/plan	Planning mode.
/exe	Execution mode.
/ask	Ask mode.

File mentions (@)

Form	Effect
@path	Inserts a literal reference to a file.
The + Context button	Injects the file's content into the context (limit ~100 KB).

The Desktop composer does not have an @ autocomplete dropdown.

Projects live in ~/.imaginne-desktop/projects/<slug>/; the configuration and your session, in ~/.imaginne/config.yaml.
